Surprise, Rio Ferdinand has given his verdict on his favourite striker to strengthen United

Manchester United has tried to resolve several issues that have been pending during this summer, the club hopes to have everything in order for the start of the Premier League which is only ten days away, for that reason one of the greatest players of all time of the team has given his opinion on the matter and praised the great work done by the coach. 

Rio Ferdinand spent most of his football career with the Red Devils, where he was able to win countless titles, as well as being a key player in achieving all those successes, as his leadership and mentality were always reflected not only inside, but also off the pitch, for that reason when the Englishman has an opinion to give, all the fans receive it in the best way. 

During this summer the former defender has given his point of view on different situations that the team has gone through, the Glazers being one of the most important, as the player since he was at the club lived all that dissatisfaction on the part of the fans towards the way United was heading, but due to the great achievements that were achieved, well that disguised a little of that discomfort. 

But Ferdinand certainly agrees that there should be a change with the owners and that either Sheikh Jassim or Jim Ratcliffe should take the reins of the team, with the intention that there is a clear improvement and that the fans can be happy with the decision, however, the former player was not the only topic he spoke about. 

The new striker

Rio Ferdinand praised the work that Erik Ten Hag has been doing, as well as other legends, he considers that the Dutchman has made a change in United that had not been seen in a long time, he also commented on the reinforcements that have had good performances during the preseason, but specifically with the attacking position, as Ferdinand said that the option of signing Rasmus Hojlund was one of the best, after knowing that Kane was not going to be able to come to Old Trafford.
