Rio Ferdinand recognizes the great efforts of André Onana at Manchester United

Most of the red devils fans were happy to see André Onana get his first clean sheet with the team, and that could mean that the keeper should be ready to get some better games.

Now it seems that Rio Ferdinand has recognized the efforts of André Onana to get a better result with the team, and that has caused for the praises of the former defender of the team, that also hopes that the new keeper of the team could be on his way to get some better results in the next games of the team as well.

“I have spoken about his character over the past few days since the loss to Bayern Munich and I have to commend him… When I was playing, I would have walked straight past that mic zone and not wanted to talk at times. So that shows his great character.” where some of the words of Ferdinand to show the important character of the keeper of the team.

Now Ferdinand added after the game, “But this clean sheet will go a long way to building that character back up, hopefully the first of many more. He can not do it alone, he needs his team mates to help him out a bit.” where the words that show that André Onana is ready to have a lot of great moments with the team for the next few games.

“I hope it can be [a catalyst] it is moments like this when you need a result and you get it, it is massive… Leaders in the changing room will be reminding those around them of times like this when it gets tough and Turf Moor can be a difficult place, it can be a big banana skin if they are not concentrating properly but they navigated it really well.”
