The red devils are ready to face the next game of the season, and they are looking to get a win that could help them advance in the Champions League group stage.

Manchester United and Erik ten Hag know that this is a must win game for the team, with two defeats in the first two games of the group stage, they need to get the three points to make sure that they have a chance to advance, and now it seems that could be one of the main reasons for the team to try and build up the confidence to face this game.

But, Paul Scholes said the following, “I am not sure how much confidence the two wins in the Premier League will give them. One of them was scraped through (against Brentford) and again the performance was not great again on Saturday night against a team you would expect to be relegated.” and he believes that is not enough for the next game.

Scholes added, “He almost got pigeon-holed by trying to be a holding midfielder with Fred and it did not quite work. They took a little bit of stick together. But I never felt that was his best position, or that was great at controlling the game. His strenth is to use his athleticism to get forward and back.” when he was asked about McTominay and his role with the team.

And the fact once again is that now the red devils are going to have a really important week that could define the whole season, now that they are going to face this really important game on the Champions League, and then they have the Manchester Derby, that could also help the team build a lot of morale for the next season.

Erik ten Hag job

Now it has been reported that Erik ten Hag future as the manager of the red devils could really depend on the result that they get on the Champions League, and that includes the need to advance to the next round of the group stage for the team.
