The Manchester United board had a busy last day of transfer activity, during which time they finalised three signings that had already been discussed during the week but for various reasons had not been formally offered, and two of them were officially presented by signing their contracts in front of the media, so it is expected that the third will be presented on Monday at the latest.

For his part, Erik Ten Hag has shown his great happiness to have the players he was wishing for and that they will also cover certain positions of the field that are of great relevance due to the injuries that have occurred during the last few weeks, so it is expected that the team can improve the performance shown with the arrival of these players.

However, not everyone is happy with the signings of the season, as we know one of the former players who is always commenting on the Red Devils situations, sometimes positive and sometimes not so positive, is Rio Ferdinand so once the transfer window was closed, the former defender commented on his impressions of the new players who will be wearing the United shirt this season.

One of the players who was mentioned was Rasmus Hojlund, as we know he has been unable to make his debut for the Red Devils due to a lower back injury he has been carrying since pre-season with Atalanta, so Ferdinand is demanding to see a good impact from the striker as he was one of the most expensive players of the summer at around £72m.

Rio Ferdinand's statement

During Vibe With Five's weekly Youtube show, Rio Ferdinand commented on the transfer market, in particular Rasmus Hojlund who has been unable to get game time due to injury, and the former defender said: "Hojlund will be back, and he might play against Arsenal at the weekend. If he comes in and scores a goal and we win that game, then that would be a great window."
