The red devils seem to be in a very complicated situation now that they were not able to get the win in the game against Galatasaray, and now they are pointing to the keeper.

Manchester United seems to be almost out of the Champions League, the fact is that they need a lot of combinations to happen if they want to have the chance to make it past the group stage, and the fact is that they definitely needed to win in the game against Galatasaray, and they are some former players that now blame the keeper of the team for that result.

“All 3 [Galatasaray] goals are down to him [Andre Onana].” Paul Scholes started on the keeper, and the fact is that now Manchester United has become the first team ever to concede 14 goals in five games in a Champions League campaign, and that shows the way that the red devils have suffered in defense and in the keeper position in the European competition.

Paul Scholes added, “It’s a shame because he has started to look okay the last few weeks. It’s the Champions League where it’s been a struggle for him. I don’t think his concentration is there which is the most important thing for a goalkeeper.” and the fact is that there were some mistakes that could have been avoided that allowed for the goals to enter now.

“ I know he’s talking about mistakes but he made two big mistakes giving two stupid fouls away which led to goals. They all need to take responsibility including himself.” Scholes added on Bruno Fernandes, and the fact is that it seems that the main problem for the red devils is that they are unable to keep focus for the whole 90 minutes on the game.

André Onana future

With the mistakes so far and the fact that André Onana might be leaving the red devils to go and play in the AFCON, it seems that the red devils hierarchy are ready to go ahead and find a replacement for the keeper in the next transfer windows now.
