It appears Erik ten Hag counts with the Argentinian after being involved with the senior team all pre-season tour. Garnacho played some games during this time, but the match that stand out for him was last Sunday’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford. He probably was the best player on the pitch.

The left-winger was brought in from Atletico Madrid’s academy back in 2020 for about £500k and since then, he has really left his mark in United’s youth teams scoring 22 goals and handing out 10 assists. This caught the attention of Argentina’s coach Lionel Scaloni, who called up the player this past month of March to be part of the team during the last qualifying games for the World Cup.

The young player has a brilliant future ahead of him

Manchester United and Erik ten Hag still have not make a decision about Alejandro Garnacho as it is being debated what could be the best option to accelerate his development this season. It is being said that the club wants to keep him until January as no other forward has arrived this transfer window.
