In celebration of the 30th year anniversary of the Premier League, ‘Betfair’ conducted a survey alongside ‘YouGov’ where they asked over 1,000 football fans to choose the best team, they have seen during the time England’s top division of football has been called ‘The Premier League’.
The results had Manchester United’s iconic 1999 team, managed by no other than Sir Alex Ferguson, that won the Premier League, FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League in the same season. It is worth noting that ever since no other club in England has ever replicated this achievement. Although some have come close.

‘The class of 99’ wrote a golden page in the club’s history, as a lot of fans say that they are the most talent packed team they have seen together. At that time, Sir Alex Ferguson had assembled legends like: Peter Schmeichel, Gary Neville, Jaap Stam, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, among others.
‘The Red Devils’ beat in the vote teams like ‘The Invincibles’ coached by Arsene Wenger, when Arsenal won the league without losing a single game throughout the 2003/2004 Premier League campaign; and Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool that won the league in 2020 after 30 years of not winning the league. ‘The Reds’ took English football by storm with his attacking and pressing style of play.
