Earlier today it was reported by multiple sources that Manchester United made a €9 million bid to Bologna for the transfer of Marko Arnautović, which was almost immediately rejected as the club would only let him go for 15 million. Hours later, Marko’s brother confirmed the interest of a “well-known” club, referencing United.
Now Rob Dawson from ESPN has said that Manchester United are in talks with both Arnautović and RB Salzburg’s Benjamin Šeško. The two moves are considered by the club as separate operations and the objective is to bring both of them to Old Trafford. This is also regardless if Cristiano Ronaldo stays this summer.

Manchester United legend is worried about the team's midfield
Fabrizio Romano informed yesterday that Leipzig director and the main figure of Red Bull Group, Oliver Mintzlaff had a meeting with Šeško’s agent to discuss the offers received. Today he added that Salzburg would only be opened to sell the forward next summer. In spite of this, the player has the ultimate decision.
If both players end up arriving this last few weeks of the transfer window and Cristiano Ronaldo stays, the Manchester United offensive line would change dramatically. This could only be beneficial for Erik ten Hag who is looking to bring more players that improve the team’s quality.
