Manchester United has had a tough couple of days following the defeat against Brighton in the first game of the Premier League season. They failed to sign Benjamin Šeško, who will stay at Red Bull Salzburg this season but play for RB Leipzig next year, and now have been linked with the likes of Marko Arnautović and Adrien Rabiot.
The Arnautović deal completely collapsed after Bologna rejected their initial offer of £9 million. In addition to this, all the backlash on social media by fans who rightfully claimed that the striker was in no way near Manchester United’s level made the club decide that they will not continue to pursue the Austrian striker.

Although Rabiot may still arrive, the Red Devils have begun looking for other attacking options on the market. According to a transfer correspondent from 90min Football, Graeme Bailey, Manchester United is now considering Ismaïla Sarr for the right-wing position. However, some other Premier League clubs like Leeds United are also interested.
The 24-year-old Senegalese signed for Watford back in 2019 for €30 million and has shown glimpses of his speed and ability to run down the right wing. Even though he has been relegated to the Championship with The Hornets two times, he has proven that he is ready to take a step forward in his career and transfer to a better team. Watford would accept bids for around £25 million.
