Italian giants Juventus have added a Manchester United striker as they are looking for someone who can replace Alvaro Morata, who returned to Atletico Madrid this summer. The player they want is not Cristiano Ronaldo, but Anthony Martial. The Frenchman would be open for a move away from Old Trafford which he has done in the past.

Last season, Martial was loaned out to Sevilla FC in the January transfer window after not playing the number of minutes he would’ve liked. Sadly, this was not the best decision in his career. He only played 12 matches scoring just one goal and gave out one assist. These numbers are pretty shocking for a striker with so much value on the market.

This pre-season under the new manager Erik ten Hag was starting to look like a turning point for Martial, as he played a good number of minutes and the Dutchman seemed impressed for his performances. He even was going to be the starter on the Premier League opening game against Brighton, but he suffered a hamstring injury.

Is the Juve interest real?

According to the Italian reporter Di Marzio, ‘Bianconeri’ are looking for a player who can support Dušan Vlahović just like Morata did last season. They want someone who can play on the left wing or as a secondary striker that complements the Serbian striker’s abilities. Juventus have short-listed Anthony Martial, Arkadiusz Milik, and former Man Utd player Memphis Depay.
