Ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League matchday two fixture between Brentford and Manchester United, the Bees manager, Thomas Frank, spoke during a press conference about his feelings before the game and the Red Devils’ current situation after they lost their first game at home against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Thomas Frank was asked about how he feels facing Christian Eriksen, who played the last six months under him: “I am looking forward to seeing him again. I look forward to giving him a hug and asking him how his family is, then I look forward to competing against him on the pitch and afterwards hopefully we will have three points and he will have zero, but we will see”.

The Danish manager only has good things to say about his country fellowman: “in think no doubt with his qualities, you could also see it in the last game. I know he was used in two different positions during the game. Obviously, his quality on the ball is key and we know we can’t give him too much time because he can see the ball between lines and has the quality to put in on a string for any player”.
Frank was questioned about the rough patch Manchester United is in and if this is the best time to play against them: “I don’t think there is an ideal time. But one thing is for sure, they’ve got a new manager, a brilliant manager. I think he’s done a fantastic job in his earlier jobs, so they’re very interested in doing everything they can to make it a success with the players”.
Thomas Frank also thinks they aren’t favorites against the Red Devils. He believes that after losing the first match they will give everything to win against them tomorrow. However, he warned everyone that his team also has a good chance of winning. For last , confirmed that Brentford’s new signing Mikkel Damsgaard won’t be available to make his debut.
