Manchester United’s youngster Anthony Elanga sat down to answer some of the most intriguing questions the supporters had about him. The 20-year-old will play his first complete season with the Red Devils’ senior team after earning a place in the squad during the short time Ralf Rangnick was in charge.

Firstly, he was asked about who his favorite footballer of all time is, and surprisingly, is an Arsenal legend: “Of all time? Yeah, for me it’s Thierry Henry. He is a role model I grew up watching. Who is my favorite United player of all time? There are so many. I can't just pick one, but if I have to pick one, Sir Bobby Charlton”.

One of the fans was curious about one of the new signings. Elanga was asked how Tyrell Malacia has fitted in with the rest of the team, to which he answered: “I think we’ve clicked. He is a good lad on the pitch and off the pitch and I really enjoy playing with him and spending time with him outside the pitch as well. He’s really good”.

If Kenya could go back in time and play a match for any football team in history he would choose the Man United team that won the treble in 1999: “Probably 99’ when Ole scored the winner. I’d like to go back in time and score that winner. It was an amazing team, wasn’t it? It was a top team so I’d just come off the bench and score.

Elanga believes the team can turn around

The Swedish footballer was questioned about his goals and ambitions for his first complete campaign with the senior team: “My goal is to obviously play as many games as I can for the first team, score many goals, and play a huge part in this team and hopefully win trophies”. He also said that he has been working more on different ways of finishing so he can score many goals.
