After one day of negotiations, Manchester United and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the signing of Casemiro, as per Fabrizio Romano. The Italian reporter mentions that both clubs are preparing the contracts and paperwork. The final fee agreed was €60 million fixed, plus €10 m in add-ons.
The player will soon fly to England in order to have his medical exams and sort out his visa this weekend. Casemiro will not be part of Real Madrid’s next match tomorrow against Celta de Vigo as Carlo Ancelotti confirmed, and will sign a four-year contract with the Red Devils with an option to extend it one more year.

Anthony Martial has returned to the training ground ahead of the Liverpool match
The 30-year-old Brazilian was seen today arriving at Madrid’s training ground in Valdebebas one hour and twenty minutes before the training even started. The former Sao Paulo midfielder trained with the rest of his teammates for 15 minutes so he could have the last training session with them before leaving.
His manager, Carlo Ancelotti also confirmed during a press conference that the footballer had already told him that he wanted to leave: “We respect Casemiro’s decision. He wants to leave and try a new challenge. His teammates respect him and his decision. They love him, the club loves him. We are not sad, we are respectful”.
Manchester United were in need of a world-class defensive midfielder for quite some time after Scott McTominay and Fred had proven time and time again they weren’t good enough together in the middle of the field. Now, arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world is joining the Red Devils and he will definitely upgrade the quality in midfield.
