Manchester United legend Paul Scholes questioned the club's decision to spend big on Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. Scholes isn't satisfied with what the young attacking talent has shown so far after a year in the club. We must remember he wasn't a big part of the club since joining and was yet to establish himself in the starting lineup.
Sancho, who came through the ranks at Manchester City, moved to Old Trafford after a spend up to £72 million on the England international to Borussia Dortmund. His last season in Germany was highly productive, playing 36 games, scoring 16 goals, and assisting on 20 occasions, proving he was a perfect talent in the making.

However, Scholes believes that Sancho is not worth the money and that United should instead focus on signing a striker. As one of Manchester United's all-time greats, Paul Scholes knows a thing or two about what it takes to succeed at the highest level. So when he questions the club's decision to spend big on Jadon Sancho, it's worth taking notice.
So far not. But with Erik ten Hag as the new Manchester United coach, Jadon Sancho has been a regular in the lineup. “Jadon Sancho was a young player who Manchester United spent a lot of money on, who was unproven in the league”. Those were the exact words he said to the English press.
