Manchester United have more than six center-backs in the squad at the moment. That is why they are doing everything in their power to find any potential buyers that could be interested in the ones who have been transfer listed. It has been said that Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly would be the ones “sacrificed”.
While Tuanzebe has not received any offers and Jones may be on his way to the MLS, there are three clubs battling for Eric Bailly. Weeks ago, Italian giants AS Roma opened conversations with United, but then Sevilla came in and asked about the Ivorian. As both clubs have been negotiating with him, West Ham have now joined the race.

Manchester United will have a busy last couple of weeks in the transfer window as they are looking to sell some players. But at the same time, Erik ten Hag has confirmed that are also on the lookout for more signings that can have an impact on the team. The positions where the club is lacking quality seem to be the midfield and the attack.
Manchester United’s number 3 has to make a decision on what club he will play next season. It is either reuniting with José Mourinho at Rome, going back to Spain where he played his first years as a professional, or staying in the Premier League with West Ham. At the moment, Sevilla have the advantage.
