Manchester United is in the driving mood tonight, as they take the lead at Old Trafford in their first game of the new year. The Old Trafford fans have been cheering their player on from the start of the whistle as they play their third Premier League match since club season resumed.
The Red Devils have been impressive so far in the game and take a well-deserved one-goal lead into the break from a beautiful finish from Casemiro. Manchester United took advantage of a set-piece opportunity to get ahead in the entertaining encounter.

Christian Eriksen set up a delightful cross from a freekick opportunity which saw Casemiro calmly slot it past the Bournemouth goalie to get United the opener. The Red Devils continued their energetic attacking press to as they looked for a second.
Marcus Rashford, Christian Eriksen, and Bruno Fernandes had attempts on goal to extend United's lead but failed to make it count. The Red Devils were tested a few times by teh visitor by the elegant Harry Maguire who was on site to disrupt any opportunity for Bournemouth.
Old Trafford erupted to roars of excitement as Manchester United took the lead courtesy of Casemiro's beautiful finish from Christian Eriksen. Erik Ten Hag jubilated with a wide smile on his face as he tinkered on how United can maximize their chances as they head into the second half.
