Manchester United’s pursuit of a striker continues another day and now has added another name to the very long list of possible candidates to be signed in the remaining three weeks of this year’s summer transfer window. After everything that happened with Marko Arnautović, it looks like they have moved on from him for good.

In the last couple of days, it was reported that Stuttgart’s Saša Kalajdzić was being discussed by Manchester United internally as they saw him as a much younger version of Arnautović. At only 25 years of age, the also Austrian striker is expected to move away from Germany because he has some offers from Premier League clubs and would only cost around £20 million.

However, his new coach at the Austria national team, Ralf Rangnick, recommended him to stay one more year at Stuttgart in spite of the Red Devils’ interest in him.
