One of the priorities Erik ten Hag has at the moment as Manchester United manager is to reinforce the right-back position. The club is already looking to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka as he has not convinced the new gaffer that he is good enough to play for the Red Devils. But unfortunately, no offers have arrived for him this summer window.

Diego Dalot is the preferred option for ten Hag; however, the Dutchman believes he still needs some competition so he can become a better player, so he does not have his place secured on the starting eleven. It also looks like Ethan Laird is on his way out on a loan deal to Watford, but the deal has not been completed.

Today, it was reported by ‘MailOnline Sport’ that Josip Juranović was on the club’s transfer targets list. Now the senior reporter for ‘Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy, has said that Norwich’s Max Aarons could potentially become a possible solution for the club as he would not be that expensive because he plays for a Championship team.

The right-back has tons of potential

The Norwich City academy player made his senior debut back in 2018 and since then, he has been labeled as one of the most promising right-backs in English football. At 22 years of age, he already has experience in the Premier League, but sadly he has been relegated twice in four years with the Canaries. However, he has always been one of his best players; it was the rest of his squad that lacked the quality needed for the league.
