Manchester United kickstarted 2023 with a win at Old Trafford as they beat Bournemouth 3-0 in front of their fans as they consolidate their league position. The Red Devils ensured that they secured all three points to keep up with the table toppers.
The Red Devils have now won four straight matches in a row following the return to club football at the end of December. Manchester United have now secured their current position on the league table and are five points ahead of Liverpool in the fifth position.

Erik Ten Hag's men took the lead after an unmarked Casemiro calmly finished off a Christian Eriksen freekick cross in the first half. United pressed on to add to the tally but snatched at chances as the first half progressed.
The second half saw a more clinical Manchester United as they extended their lead via Luke Shaw early on in the second as they built on the first-half performance. The team extended the lead further with a Marcus Rashford strike to cap a beautiful outing.
Manchester United fans were delighted to extend their unbeaten running to four match season the club season restarted. The Red Devils cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win against Bournemouth at Old Trafford in their game of 2023 and sit pretty in the fourth position on the league table.
