After being announced as the new Sevilla player, Alex Telles found some time during the day to upload a picture on his Instagram profile with a message to all Manchester United fans who supported him during his time at the club. However, he did clarify this is only temporarily, as he will be back next year.

“To everyone at United: colleagues, staff, fans. I will be supporting and wheering you on all season. Thanks for the moments so far”, Alex Telles wrote, showing his love for the club and his teammates who have helped him during his short two years wearing the Manchester United jersey proudly.

The Brazilian left-back will spend a year in Spain out on loan until the summer of 2023. In addition, it is worth noting that the deal does not include an obligation or option to buy. But Sevilla will take full responsibility paying all of Telles wages during the season. This way the ‘Red Devils’ will save up to £2m.

Alex Telles is already thinking of his new club

The 29-year-old told Sevilla FC fans that he had no doubt on his mind when he knew that they were interested in signing him as he will play the Champions League where he can try to get called up to his national team for the upcoming World Cup. This will be his sixth club in Europe after leaving his first team, Grêmio, from Brazil.
