Erik Ten Hag and the club reportedly blocked off interest in Rashford in the summer and have been reaping the rewards with match-winning performances as they begin a new chapter at the club that will lead them to the top level once again.
Rashford's impressive performance this season has fully rewarded Erik Ten Hag for backing him as the leader of the new project ahead of now-former player Cristiano Ronaldo who was United's top scorer last season with 24 goals.
Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo was unveiled as the new Al Nassr player after agreeing to a two and half year deal with the club. Ronaldo forced an exit from United due to Rashford's impressive form following Ten Hag's backing which has continued even after his exit. The England International has now scored in four consecutive matches for United since the restart.
