The arrival of Mason Mount and André Onana has been a breath of fresh air for Manchester United, after several unsuccessful attempts with both of them, as after negotiations came to a halt, the manager was finally able to secure the player he was waiting for, as well as continuing to look for new reinforcements.
There have been rumours about possible players who could join United, many of them have only been approached and others have only been interested, what is true is that there is a player who has openly shown his interest in playing for the Red Devils and the club thinks he would be a great acquisition due to his talent.
The player we are talking about is Rasmus Hojlund, in recent days there have been many reports linking the striker with his probable signing, we know that the club needs a partner for Marcus Rashford, for that reason Ten Hag would be looking for Hojlund, to improve the attack that has been one of the weak points during last season and also to take the player hand in hand with the project that the coach has planned for the future.
It has also been said that United have already been approached by the striker and that he has shown great interest in playing at Old Trafford, although an official offer has not yet been made, United and Atalanta have had several talks about the price of the player and how negotiations could begin, so that the club does not go through what has been happening with previous signings.
Manchester United have already been asking and insisting the price for the Danish striker, although some weeks ago the Italian team would have put a price of 55-60 million for the player, in the last few days they would have raised it to 85 million euros; as we know that is a price that the club cannot afford to pay so they would offer a little less in the hope that they can reach an agreement with Atalanta and the negotiations do not get complicated.
