With pre-season just around the corner, Ten Hag receives news that continues to disappoint the fans

Manchester United is in a very complex situation, the club is deep in debt, because the Glazer's have done a terrible economic management, so the fans are getting impatient, because the start of the pre-season is very close and the team does not need to concentrate to face the next games in the best way.

As we all know, during this transfer window the rumours and news have not stopped, after four offers they were able to get Mason Mount, which was a tremendous achievement for Ten Hag, as we all would have thought that this signing was not going to happen, after that they kept looking for players to reinforce weak areas of the field. 

However, in a new Financial Fair Play update, United could be penalised if they were to go over the 100million budget, so Ten Hag would have to look to fill the gaps in the squad with players who can perform in his scheme and who are also at a low cost. 

That is why players like Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane, who were speculated to be willing to come to United, now that possibility would move away a little and would have to look for other options; one of those alternatives that Ten Hag would have taken is the Atalanta striker, Rasmus Hojlund, for whom an official offer has already been made.

United recently made an offer for the Danish striker for 35 million euros, which is not a high price given the conditions that the club has and the quality of Hojlund, however, Atalanta would have already rejected this first offer, because they think it is not enough for the value of the player, so they would be asking for 10 million more, this would certainly leave United in a compromising situation.
