The takeover of Manchester United continues with no end in sight as the Glazers continue to make a decision on the proposals from Sheikh Jassim and Jim Ratcliffe, however, sources close to the Glazers report that there is a reason why the process has been dragging on. 

We have been talking about the sale of the team for more than 8 months now, the contenders have already shown their offers for the team, but the Glazers are still unable to make a decision, this has made the fans desperate to know who of the two will keep the club; at first everyone would have weighed that the Qatari offer would be the winner, but in recent days there have been issues that could completely turn the situation upside down. 

On the one hand, Sheikh Jassim has worried fans who want him to be the new owner, because there are doubts about his offer and the financing of the same, in addition to that it has been speculated that his proposal has divided even the Glazer family, so it seems that he is no longer the favourite in the race; for his part Jim Ratcliffe has held certain conversations with the current owners. 

Apart from that, he has repeatedly shown confidence with his offer that allows the American family to continue to maintain some kind of control within the club, plus recent news from UEFA could benefit the British businessman in his aspirations to keep the club; whoever the new owner is, we fans just hope that they do a good job and that the club can return to the glory of its history.

The idea that Sheikh Jassim Al Thani would have with Manchester United, excited more than one fan, the proposal of more than 6,000 billion, with options to sign any player and the remodeling of all the facilities of the club, were only one of the various ideas that the Qatari Sheikh would have put on the table, however, now his favoritism has fallen and it has been speculated that the Glazers would like more the offer of the businessman Jim Ratcliffe.
