While Onana would like to play at Old Trafford, the player who rejected Ten Hag outright

Manchester United have been looking for a large number of players during this transfer window; some have not been able to be finalised due to the lack of budget this year, others have been advancing the talks, but there is a player who decided to reject United and go to another Premier League team.

The case of Jurrien Timber was one of the most probed during this summer and since last year, as the club would have been very interested in signing the Ajax player, however, last season the coach would have chosen Lisandro Martinez as his reinforcement in the defense, but still the interest of the club remained. 

Now this summer, Manchester United are once again trying to sign the 22-year-old defender, but with the imminent departure of Harry Maguire opening the door to a move for Jurrien Timber, Ten Hag would be keen to make a move for the young player possible. 

However, Ten Hag would have a couple of more important positions to reinforce such as midfield, which would be reinforced with Mason Mount and the goalkeeper after the departure of David de Gea, would be very close to concrete André Onana as his replacement; because of this the talks with Timber were a little stalled and the player would finally accept an offer for the club of his love.

Arsenal to sign Jurrien Timber

The Dutch defender, would have reached an agreement with the Gunners in a transfer of 42 million pounds; Timber would have shown his desire to join the team of Mikel Arteta, as he says that since childhood his desire was always to play for Arsenal, for that reason would reject Manchester United, with the intention that he would get a proposal from his desired club.
