Manchester United have some issues to resolve before the season starts, one of those is the sale of players, while the club is spending money to bring in new signings, the board has not been able to make a sale that could help with the economic issue and make it less complicated to negotiate with clubs that raise the value of their players.

So now trying to sell players who are transferable and do not fit into the coach's future plans should become a priority, as there are also players whose contracts expire this year, so this would be the last transfer sale in which the club could make a real financial profit.

One of the players who has been repeatedly talked about is Harry Maguire, as during the season he was relegated to the bench, he was stripped of the captain's armband and everything would point to him being one of the first to leave the club this summer, however, the Premier League is about to start and Ten Hag has not yet been able to reach an agreement with interested clubs.

West Ham have been showing a lot of interest in signing the defender, as David Moyes has openly said that they want a replacement for Declan Rice and Maguire could be that man in defence, but things don't seem to be quite clear, so talks could be stalled if a deal isn't agreed soon.

Ten Hag would be the reason Maguire has not been sold.

Harry Maguire would have to leave during this transfer window, his time at United has come to an end and the manager has already told him that he does not have him, however, after putting him on the transfer list, Ten Hag set a price of £50 million for the team that wants to sign the defender and although the club is willing to receive less, not many teams would want to take the risk of signing Maguire for that price.
