Manchester United ex legend for the club seems to have a lot to say when it comes to the current situation of Harry Maguire with the red devils.
Wayne Rooney knows what is like to have a really important role with Manchester United, he was a key part of one of the best eras for the red devils and now he has decided to talk about the player that has raised a lot of controversy know that he could be looking to leave the team in this transfer window, Harry Maguire, and the statements are really harsh.
Rooney was also a captain for Manchester United at some point on his career, so when asked about the current situation for Harry Maguire he said the following, “To have the armband taken off you, how does he move forward with the club? That shows that the manager really does nor believe in him.” And that seems to be just the beginning.
Then the striker ended by saying, “It leaves Harry Maguire to think on what he does moving forward. The manager now has shown he is not part of the plans.” So then he added, “The best thing now is probably for him to move on." Sending a final message to both Harry Maguire and Ten Hag and what they should do regarding the current situation of the player.
While it also seems that Rooney is well aware that the current project of Erik ten Hag is actually working, he also feels that the manager is being a little harsh on the decisions that he is making with players like Harry Maguire that are not going to be taken into account, but he believes that the manager should still receive all of the support from the fans.
