Manchester United has enjoyed having a large number of players who have become legends for their great performances and all the titles they have won with the team, for that reason when one of those players decides to return to England it causes all the fans to get excited.

Wayne Rooney is one of those legends who spent almost his entire career at Old Trafford, his great goals and all the moments lived with the Red Devils shirt will never be forgotten, because his 12 years of career have been one of the best in recent times, even so, he could not retire in the team that saw him grow up football, he had to move to MLS and that was where he would practically conclude his career.

Now after a year of his retirement he plans to return to the Premier League, but now with the ambition of being a technical director, although he has commented that he does not urge him to return to England, it is true that it is one of his plans that he has in mind to carry out, because at the moment he is coach of DC United and has been enjoying good success with the American team.

The former United striker would be looking to follow in the footsteps of his former England teammates, Steven Gerard and Fank Lampard who both have already taken the step to coach in the Premier League, although they have struggled a bit to stay, even so, we are glad to know that we can see Wayne Rooney, but now on the other side of the pitch leading a team and taking it on the road to success.

Rooney's career with United

Wayne Rooney is one of the best strikers to have worn the Manchester United shirt, during his 12 seasons he was able to score 253 goals (top scorer in history), 145 assists and over 44,000 minutes in all competitions, as well as winning 5 Premier Leagues and 1 Champions League.
