Erik Ten Hag has been very busy these days, with the whole process of André Onana's transfer, plus the fact that the club is preparing for the pre-season games, have made the coach have to look for alternatives for the team, even so, today has come out a new update in the case of Fred that has been talked about for the last few weeks.
The Brazilian midfielder, is one of the players who plans to leave Manchester United just before the end of the summer, Ten Hag has already informed the player that he is not in the plans for the start of the Premier League, therefore, he will have to look for a new team that will allow him to have the opportunity he has lacked in his 5 seasons with the club.
Since his arrival in 2018 from Shaktar Donetsk, Fred has not been able to perform up to the demands nor has he been able to compensate the 59 million euros that United paid for him, for that reason his departure is more than imminent with the idea that both can benefit, as the player would receive more playing time, while the Red Devils would at least receive something economic.
One of the teams that have been talking about that would be interested in the Brazilian is Galatasaray, the Turkish club has openly shown that their intention is to sign Fred as soon as possible, so negotiations have already begun between the two teams with the intention of being able to reach an agreement.
Manchester United is very willing to let the Brazilian midfielder go, however, they would try to transfer him for a good figure in order not to lose so much of what was invested in him; Galatasaray has put on the table an offer of £7 million, but United would be asking for £10.4 million, which would allow them to have a higher profit on the player, so the Turkish club will review this counterproposal and would be expected to give an answer soon.
