The fact is that Manchester United were close to make the deal for André Onana happen, but now his true value could actually complicate things in the next few days.

Erik ten Hag wants to make sure that André Onana becomes the new number one keeper for the red devils, and now while it seemed that the deal was only hours away to happen, there is a new amount that Inter Milan is not moving from that could end up pushing the deal further away and even if it gets done, it would still take a long time.

Now it has been reported that Inter Milan is not going to accept less than 60 million euros to let go of André Onana, and while Manchester United last offer was around 55 million euros, it seems that the italian team is set on that amount and won't go down from there, meaning that negotiations could take a longer time to be completed in the next season.

The fact is that Erik ten Hag wanted to complete the deal as soon as possible, mainly because he wanted the keeper to be part of the first games of the preseason and while it seems that André Onana is eventually going to be the new keeper of the team, it seems that he won't be able to make it to the first game of the preseason.

André Onana terms

Now that 6 million euros difference is the only thing that is holding André Onana from arriving to Manchester United, the fact is that he has already accepted the personal terms in his deal that would put him at the goal of the red devils for the next 5 years at least and would earn him a salary of 8 million euros in those seasons.
