This is the impact of Manchester United's disgrace at Anfield on Ten Hag's plans

It was a busy day at Carrington as Manchester United players resumed training and reassess the outcome of United's poor performance in the second half at Anfield as they were blown apart. It was a result that has Manchester United the banter club of the weekend amongst fans on social media.

The Dutch manager said after the game, 'you can lose a game but not in this way.' He added 'the second half was unprofessional.  It can't happen. We have to talk about it.' This was also Erik Ten Hag's worse defeat as a manager. Manchester United is now 14 points behind league leaders Arsenal and just seven points above Liverpool.
