Unfortunately for all fans, not all of the former Manchester United players have been able to perform to the highest of standards, many have struggled to fit in with the club, their style of play or the challenging level of the Premier League

However, as every summer we always look forward to the new signings that the club can achieve, we also want those players who arrive at Old Trafford to become legends of the team and win as many championships as possible in their time at United; unfortunately, these players had a very brief spell at the club due to their performance and this would now be recorded as the worst signings that Manchester United has ever had.

Let's start by talking about the Dutch striker, Memphis Depay, who when he arrived in 2015 we all thought he would become one of the best players, however his performance was so bad that he would lose the confidence of the manager and leave after spending only one season at United; then comes Alexis Sanchez, who was one of the biggest disappointments United fans remember, as in 45 games for the Red Devils, he could only score 5 goals, despite being one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.

In third place we have Radamel Falcao, who at the time was one of the best and most dangerous strikers in the world, but with United was never able to show that goalscoring instinct and would only score 5 goals in two seasons; and finally, we have Juan Sebastian Veron, who at the time would have broken the Premier League transfer record, being unable to adapt to English football and after receiving much criticism, in 2003 he was finally released by United.

Mason Mount called to be one of United's greats

Erik Ten Hag could get his first signing of the summer, the British midfielder arrived for a value of 60 million pounds, this makes that he has to demonstrate with the Red Devils, the quality and ability that brought him here, plus he has an extra weight carrying the No. 7 that in recent years has not been well represented, so the club has high expectations on the player so that he does not become a bad signing
