Manchester United's club legend has raised more eyebrows with his recent actions in Europe.

While Manchester United's Harry Maguire was leading England to glory at Wembley his former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo was wreaking havoc elsewhere in Europe as Portugal beat Luxembourg 0-6 on their home soil to cap a wonderful international break of football.

The former Red Devils star was in his element last night for Portugal he led them to victory while chipping in two goals on the night as well, with current Manchester United stars, Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot also playing in the game. Their win takes them to the top Group J in the EURO 2024 qualifiers with six points and 10 goals difference.

Ronaldo scored the opening with nine minutes before scoring Portugal's fourth goal to get his brace from a Bruno Fernandes assist. Both players were seen hugging in celebration of their combined efforts which clear the air about any claims of a broken relationship between them.

Prior to the Luxembourg game, Ronaldo also scored a brace against Liechtenstein just days before. With his latest brace, Cristiano Ronaldo now has 121 international goals and counting for Portugal. He now has 11 goals from 11 games against Luxembourg.

What's next for Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates?

Following the successful completion of the latest round of international games, Cristiano Ronaldo and his national teammates will be returning to their clubs' ongoing season. Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot will be eager to get back to help Manchester United with the coming tricky final few weeks of the season while Ronaldo returns to Al Nassr as they continue their title challenge in the Saudi Pro League.
