As Manchester United’s next match against Arsenal keeps getting closer, the speculation regarding Erik ten Hag’s possible line-up keeps growing since he has repeated the exact same starting XI in his last three matches, but this time, it doesn´t seem likely that he will play the same players again since they must be tired by now.

Not only they must be tired at this point, but the new manager will face his biggest challenge so far this season as he will face the Premier League leaders Arsenal, who have won every single match this campaign. For that reason, he should try and start the best possible team he has at his disposal this Sunday night.

But if you want to play your best team possible, then Cristiano Ronaldo must return to the starting line-up, something he hasn’t done since the 4-0 defeat against Brentford three weeks ago. The Portuguese striker has proven time and time again throughout his career that he is a big-match player and should play tomorrow.

Besides Cristiano, another superstar that could be starting in the next fixture is Casemiro. Ever since he was signed from Real Madrid two weeks ago, he hasn’t been included in the starting line-up, but this might be a strategy from Erik ten Hag who will try to take Arsenal by surprise by including the two former Real Madrid superstars.

He has Arsenal’s number

The last time Manchester United faced the Gunners at Old Trafford, Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winning goal in a thrilling match that the Red Devils won 3-2. Sadly, in the most recent clash at the Emirates Stadium, United lost 3-1, but the 37-year-old striker still managed to score once again against Mikel Arteta’s team.
