The red devils were ready to sell Fred to any team that wanted him, but they where actually expecting to get a really good offer, not the one that Galatasaray decided to send.

Erik ten Hag and Manchester United are still looking to sell several players that would eventually help them upgrade the current budget that the team has and one of those players is Fred, but now it does seem that the red devils would actually need to wait until they get the right offer to sell the brazilian player, because the current offer from Galatasaray was really dissapointing.

The fact is that Manchester United were looking to get at least 15 million euros for the 30 year old brazilian, and despite the fact that they where open to negotiations, when they received an offer of only 5 million euros for Fred, they where fast to reject that really low offer, and now they could be looking to sell the brazilian to some of the other teams interested in him.

Since the start of the transfer window it has been reported that Fred was ready to leave Manchester United and that they where at least three teams interested in signing him, and now the teams that are ready to send an offer to him are Fulham, Galatasaray and Al Nassr, so the team is expecting to wait and receive some other offer for the player.

Fred value

While Manchester United knows that Fred value has really gone down, they are expecting to get at least those 15 million euros to make sure that once they go separate ways with the brazilian, they could at least use that money to sign a player that could replace him in the current project that Erik ten Hag wants to accomplish right now.
