The red devils office are concerned that one of the star signings of Erik ten Hag has had some little to no playing time despite the fact that he is now healthy, and there is a reason for that.
Manchester United hieracrhy are now beggining to question the way that Erik ten Hag decides which players he would like to sign with the team, the reason being that he seems to decide to sign some players that actually have not been able to perform with the team or that now are being sent to the bench, and that is a concern for the team.
Especially when they paid more than 60 million euros for Mason Mount and despite that he has already recovered from the injury, it seems that the manager has drop the idea of putting him next to Bruno Fernandes on the line up, and there are some other factors that they considere that could actually be affecting his role with the team in the past weeks.
One of the main concerns is the fact that Mason Mount has assigned with the number 7 as soon as he arrived to the team, and the issue is that the red devils staff and the managers believe that wearing such an iconic number in hiss first season has caused him to have a lot of pressure when he actually comes on the pitch for the red devils.
On the other hand it has been confirmed that there has been no fallout between Mason Mount and Erik ten Hag and the fact is that it seems that he is now waiting to assing a new role to the player that could have suit more the way that he actually plays, but in the mean time it is a real concern that the red devils hierarchy.
Most of the staff is now concerned that from all of the signings they made on the last transfer window, the midfielder could have a really complicated future with the red devils in the next seasons with his role at the line up.
