Cristiano Ronaldo officially said his goodbye to Manchester United fans yesterday after his contract was mutually terminated by the club. This was also confirmed by the club's official statement on their website, where they also paid a short tribute to his time at Manchester.
Ronaldo's dismissal comes off the back of his recent media interview that took United by surprise. The interview saw United's board, manager, and even their owners come under heavy criticism from the 37 year old who also accused them of betraying him.

With Ronaldo gone, the club owners look set to join him at the exit door as they are ready to sell the club as soon as possible. It reported that the Glazers family who took over United 17 years ago have already begun the process for the sale.
The Glazers have come under heavy criticism in recent years from the fans for their lack of structure and path for a club of United's magnitude. The outburst from Ronaldo's interview certainly attests to and has now triggered the owners of the club into considering a sale.
With the Glazers ready to sanction the sale of the club that they've owned over the past 17 years. They've heavily invested in different managerial from Sir Alex Ferguson, Jos Mourinho, Louis Van Gaal, and others. The fans will be hoping that the sale goes through smoothly without any delays in the negotiating period.
