The 65 million player who decides to play for Manchester United

Erik ten Hag knows that making a team that can compete on the Premier League and the Champions League is the goal for this transfer window, and this player make help him achieve that.

One of the main problems that the team has had all season long is the fact that the team does not have enough depth in the squad, this meanss that if a player gets injured or need to get substituted because he is not performing well on that match, the team lacks of good options to change, this player would like to become a starter for the team and might leave current players to the bench.

He currently plays for Chelsea and his name is Mason Mount, he is the second player from Chelsea that Manchester United are considering to sign this transfer window, the other one is Mateo Kovacic and  both of them could arrive to the team due to the fact that their contracts are expiring in the summer of 2024 and both players think that they are not going to be part of the project that Chelsea has, and the London team could be looking to get something out of them before letting them walk away for free.

The interest in Mason Mount grew due to the fact that getting Mount and Kovacic could be way cheaper than getting Declan Rice, so the red devils figure that they might try and bring two good players instead of just one. Mason Mount is currently valued at 65 million euros but Manchester United are positive that they can negotiate both players for an amount of around 80 million for both of them.
