Manchester United could be ready to finally move on from the idea of signing Mason Mount, but that does not mean that they are not looking to reinforce the midfield of the team.

Now it has been reported that Manchester United could stop any negotiations for Mason Mount, they believe that the final offer of 50 million euros plus 5 million euros on add ons is more than enough to sign him, but while Chelsea does not want to accept that the offer, the red devils are looking at some other options to reinforce the team.

The fact is that Manchester United and Erik ten Hag want to sign at least three midfielders for the next season, and while they have to wait for Mount deal to be done, it seems that they are looking to sign Mohammed Kudus, the young midfielder from the Ajax team could be a better option for the team and they are ready to pursue him in this transfer window.

Mohammed Kudus is a 22 year old midfielder that has already played under Erik ten Hag while they where together at Ajax, and now it seems that the manager wants to bring in to Manchester United for the next season, especially now that he consideres that Kudus could be a way better deal for the red devils due to the age and the contract situation.

Mohammed Kudus value

Manchester United have been communicated that if they want to sign Mohammed Kudus this transfer window they would have to pay at least 50 million euros to get him, and now it seems that the team actually considered paying that amount for Kudus instead of Mount, mainly because he is a 22 year old player that has a contract until 2025, making the deal much fair for United.
