During this transfer window, Erik Ten Hag has not been able to make some signings that the fans would have liked to see, more on the offensive, as we already know it was one of the key positions that Manchester United was willing to reinforce, due to the lack of goals.

Victor Osimhen was one of the main targets for the coach, the Napoli striker shone during last season scoring 31 goals that allowed the Italian club to win the Serie A title after 30 years, so the player has become very sought after in this transfer market.

Not surprisingly, Ten Hag wants the best players available, as the club needs to be able to compete for as many titles as possible this season, and Osimhen's arrival could have been key to achieving those goals, but his transfer has stalled and the two sides have not been able to reach an agreement.

One of the reasons why the transfer of Victor Osimhen stalled was the arrival of Mason Mount, as we remember the club does not have much budget for this season and with the arrival of the midfielder, more than half of the budget went on the player, so Ten Hag would have to look for other alternatives that could come with the budget they have.

The value of Victor Osimhen

Another reason why Manchester United could not sign the player was because of the price Napoli were asking for him, thanks to his great performance last season the value of the striker rose quite a lot, around 100 million pounds, a transfer that the club could not afford to pay, so the talks with the attacker ceased and now it looks very complicated his arrival at Old Trafford.
