Ten Hag on hold, the player who could realise his dream of playing at Old Trafford, excites everyone

Erik Ten Hag wants to continue adding new reinforcements for next season, his plan has always been to strengthen every line of the team, that is why during the last few days there have been many rumours about the players who would be close to arriving at Manchester United. 

As we know at the moment there is only one signing that has been finalised which is Mason Mount and another that is practically a fact, which would be the Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana, but Ten Hag is looking to improve a position of the field that for him is of utmost importance and also that last season had some problems because there was only one player available. 

Forward would be the third position that the Dutch coach would focus on this summer, as Marcus Rashford was the only player as an offensive way to score goals, for that reason after the signing of the Cameroonian goalkeeper, the coach would be willing to focus all his attention on finding a new striker that would allow him to duo with Rashford. 

And although there have been many rumours about the possible strikers that Ten Hag would be looking for, the reality is that for the moment there is only one striker with the characteristics, the price and the intention to sign him; Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund is the coach's favourite player, for some weeks now there has been talk about his arrival, although at times it has been stalled, some comments from the player could give the club hope of being able to sign him.

Rasmus Hojlund has been linked with the Red Devils since the transfer window officially opened, although the striker has shown interest in joining the club on several occasions, as he has said since he was a child that his dream was to play at Old Trafford, Atalanta have raised the price of the striker, which has complicated talks with Hojlund, but Manchester United hope to make their first offer in the next few days to add him as their new striker.
