According to reports, Erik Ten Hag wants to bring in another Chelsea player. The manager plans to continue making moves ahead of the start of the season, as he still has a number of positions to fill and needs to bring in players to fill those gaps.

United have only been able to complete two signings during the summer, as Mason Mount was signed earlier in the month from the Blues, who, despite not wanting to part with their player, accepted the Red Devils' £60m offer; after being unveiled he joined his teammates and is now in pre-season training on American soil.

However, the English midfielder is not the only Chelsea player that Ten Hag is interested in signing, as according to reports close to the club, Joao Felix is the new player on the coach's radar, who is still keen to reinforce the attacking side, so the Portuguese is added as a good option for the Red Devils.

Despite the interest in Joao, the Dutch coach has in mind to see how the negotiations for Rasmus Hojlund go, although it seems to be close to arrive, Atalanta has not yet decided whether to accept the offer of United or will be more inclined to PSG, for that reason Ten Hag is looking at Joao Felix as a second option that can serve if the signing of the Dane does not materialise.

The Portuguese striker spent half of last season on loan at Chelsea but is set to return to Atletico Madrid at the start of the season and, according to sources, coach Diego Simeone is open to listening to offers for his player in this transfer window. Joao has also shown an interest in continuing to play in the Premier League and Champions League, so his signing could be a very interesting alternative for the coach.
