Erik Ten Hag has been trying to find the perfect players to fit into his system all summer, although the targets have been changing, the coach is very clear about the profile of the players he can count on for his new project, for that reason every time a signing comes in we can be completely sure that in some way it will help the team a lot.
So far Manchester United have been able to secure two big signings, the first was Mason Mount who arrived after lengthy negotiations with Chelsea and the second, who only arrived last week and will make his pre-season debut, is goalkeeper André Onana, who had already had the opportunity to work alongside Ten Hag when they were both at Ajax.
Now the club is looking for its third signing before the start of the Premier League, although there have been many rumours about who it could be, it seems that the coach has opted for the Moroccan Sofyan Amrabat, who for some weeks had been talking about United's interest in signing him, but as they were closing another signing they could not start negotiations.
The Moroccan midfielder has been on the radar of the Red Devils since last season, as his great performance during the World Cup and his performance with Fiorentina has made the interest increase; now Manchester United hopes that with the offer that was presented, it could lead to Amrabat signing soon and thus become the third signing of the season.
What United will pay for Amrabat
The club has already submitted an official offer for the Moroccan midfielder, the figure would be talking about 35 million pounds approximately, the proposal is practically the value that is asking for Fiorentina, in addition to that there is speculation that his arrival at Old Trafford can be given soon because at this time Amrabat did not travel with his team to preseason and is training in private, so it only remains to wait for Fiorentina to accept the negotiation.
