Victor Osimenh has been one of the main targets for Erik Ten Hag since the end of the season, the manager has been looking to strengthen the attack by bringing in another player to keep Marcus Rashford company, which is why the Nigerian would be a perfect addition to Manchester United.

During last season Victor, became one of the best strikers in Europe, making impressive numbers in all competitions, his 31 goals and 5 assists, made many top teams put the striker on their radar and want to sign him in this transfer window.

One of those teams that is very interested is Manchester United, the number of goals scored by Osimhen and his qualities in the box make him perfect in Ten Hag's tactical scheme and that covers one of the weaknesses of the club which is to score goals, so the manager would seek to get him as soon as possible.

While it is true that only United have shown interest in the player and that to date there has been no official offer, it could be rumoured that Ten Hag would be looking to sign him, despite the fact that Osimhen's value is around 120 million euros, the club could make room for his arrival with the sale of players, in addition to raising the budget they already have; therefore, it is not too far-fetched to think that the Napoli striker could arrive at United before the season starts.

Napoli's stance on Osimhen's future

It is true that many clubs are in some way looking to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, but for United it is vitally important to do so, yet according to Napoli's new manager Rudi Garcia, who has confirmed that he wants Osimhen to stay at the Stadio Diego Maradona, he has no intention of selling him, so Ten Hag will probably have to look elsewhere.
