Manchester United is preparing everything for the start of the new Premier League season, many issues have been touched with the intention of being clarified over time, for that reason Ten Hag would have to be making many decisions about the future of many players, however, there is a specific case that the fans expect an answer soon.

The case of Anthony Martial is one of the situations that the club has had unresolved, not only this season, but for several years now; for some strange reason the French striker has not left the club after a dismal performance and a long history of injuries, yet year after year he continues to have his place secured, while other young players sometimes don't get a chance.

Now during this new cycle under Erik Ten Hag, fans were hoping that Martial could finally leave the club; apparently that was one of the objectives from the beginning of the coach, who would have placed him on the transferable list with the intention of selling him and being able to make a financial profit on the player.

However, so far there has been no concrete interest from any team, besides the fact that he is coming back from injury, therefore, everything would seem to indicate that Ten Hag will gradually bring Martial back to the pitch, but with a guaranteed place in the squad; this has undoubtedly infuriated fans who expected last season to be the striker's last year.

Martial's time with United

The French striker arrived from Monaco for the 15/16 season, promising to be one of the biggest stars in world football, however, injuries and underachievement have quickly shown that Martial has failed to live up to expectations; his 88 goals in almost 300 appearances confirm the ineffectiveness of the striker's role at United, leaving many fans wanting to see him leave the club.
