Manchester United are looking to continue adding players during this transfer window, the club has made three signings for this season, but is still looking to bring in a fourth, as the manager has made it clear that the team needs to strengthen certain areas of the pitch that have shown some weakness in the early part of the campaign.

One of the positions that has received the most criticism has been the midfield, as in these two games so far in the Premier League, they have had a poor performance, as neither Casemiro nor Mount have been able to give support to Bruno Fernandes who has had to carry the responsibility of being the central axis of the team, which has brought some legends to express themselves on the matter.

Gary Neville has been one of the people who has made some of the harshest statements about the way the squad is working, as during an interview he said: "Ten Hag wants a number 6 who can play alongside Casemiro and right now the club can't sell players to finance it. But if they look at the first two weeks they have to get him or there will be big problems."

This has undoubtedly left a strong impact on Ten Hag who has already been looking for options to strengthen the squad, one of the first was Sofyan Amrabat, who has now been complicated to sign, so the board has had to think of another alternative that meets the requirements the coach needs to give a change to the position.

United's interest in Ryan Gravenberch

The Dutch midfielder has emerged as one of the new targets for the Red Devils, after failing to get the main options, in this way, the Manchester United board has begun to have talks to sign him and although at first there was talk of a price around 22 million euros, now it could be an exchange where the Red Devils would send Scott McTominay to the Bavarian club.
