Red Devils' search for a new midfielder continues, a Lazio player is on the agenda

Manchester United are set to make a move for Lazio midfielder, who was once valued at 130 million pounds. This 27-year-old has been also been linked to a move to United's most hated rival, Manchester City. But since they have enough midfielders in the squad they have given up the chance to sign another player.

We are talking about Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, the Serbian professional footballer who plays for the Italian club Lazio and the Serbia national team. He is known for his physical strength, technical ability, and vision. In 2015, he was signed by Italian club Lazio for €16 million.

Since joining Lazio, Milinkovic-Savic has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A. He has made over 300 appearances for the club and has been a key player in their success over the past few years. This season so far he has been very active: in 10 games he has scored four goals and assisted five times. 

Manchester United To Purchase Lazio Striker For 60 Million

Now, it looks like Manchester United is set to purchase Milinkovic-Savic for 60M pounds in the January transfer window. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a move to Manchester United for some time now. The first time United asked for the price it was almost double (130M pounds) but now that the fee is cheaper United would be willing to pay for it.
