Erik ten Hag wants to sign Rasmus Hojlund as the next striker for Manchester United, but the team would definitely need to empty their pockets to make the deal happen.
Erik ten Hag wants to make sure that the team has a new striker for the next season, a striker that could take advantage of all of the chances that players like Bruno Fernandes or Mason Mount could create in the next season, and while there are several options for the team, it seems that Rasmus Hojlund is going to be the way to go, but his new value could slow the negotiations.
Nicoló Schira, one of the most reliable sources when it comes to transfers in the Serie A has confirmed that the Atalanta team has rejected the first official offer for Rasmus Hojlund, that first offer involved a transfer fee of 40 million euros but it also had 5 million euros on add ons, but now it seems that his team is asking for more.
The same sources reported that Rasmus Hojlund is valued at 60 million euros for Atalanta, and they are ready to wait for the right offer, now he does not mention if that is just the transfer fee or that amount could include some add ons, but the fact is that the red devils would need to get close to that amount if they want to secure Rasmus Hojlund for the next season.
The only thing currently helping Manchester United is the fact that Rasmus Hojlund wants to play at Old Trafford for the next season, and he is reportedly pushing from the inside to make the deal happpen as soon as possible, meaning that Atalanta could actually take that factor into account in the next offer they receive for him.
