Lisandro Martinez has been one of the most important players for Manchester United and despite his injury he seems to be getting ready for the next season and the team wants to compensate him for the effort.

At the time of his arrival with Manchester United in 2022, Lisandro signed a contract for 5 years and he is earning a total amount of 6.5 million euros per year, and this current season the team is looking first of all to give him pay raise, the recent news believe that they are going to increment their salary around 40%.

That means that for the next years he is probably going to earn somewhere around the 10 million euros per year, but that is not the only thing that Manchester United are willing to offer to the argentinian, because sources close to the team are also informing about a new contract extension for the player.

His contract is set to end in the summer of 2027, and with only 25 years old the team believes that he is going to continue to show a great level with the team for more seasons to come, and that is why they want to extend his contract for at least another 2 more years, if the player accepts that offer he is going to be a red devil until the 2029 summer.

Lisandro Martinez role

He is set to become a more important player for the next season, the team knows the importance of having him ready for the Champions League next season and they are looking at players that can make a great defense with him, like Varane which is also getting back for the team or even Kim Min-jae that might become the new defender for the team.
