Manchester United are keen to strengthen their squad and bring in players to help them with their early season performances, which is why both the board and the manager will be quick to analyse which player will be the right one.

During the summer many players have been rumoured to arrive at Old Trafford, however, one of the teams that has most interested Erik Ten Hag has been Spurs, as there have been at least three players who have been at this club and that at some point in the preseason were linked with wearing the shirt of the Red Devils, although none has been able to materialize.

As we remember, one of the first players who was said to have the opportunity to join United was Harry Kane, the now Bayern Munich striker was one of the main targets for the coach when he wanted to strengthen the attack and although the club could never get close to the price they were asking for him, there was always the hope that he could be signed by the Red Devils.

Now it has recently been reported that a second player is in Ten Hag's sights, left-back Sergio Reguilon is one of the club's alternatives to replace the injured Luke Shaw, so now both United and Spurs management are talking about a possible loan with option to buy, which would have to happen before the transfer window closes.

Erik Ten Hag wants another Spurs player

Despite already having talks with the Spanish defender, Ten Hag is still not completely decided if Reguilon will be his final decision, as according to some reports midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been offered by Tottenham for the Red Devils to sign, so the coach did not think it was a bad idea and is now analysing the situation of both players.
